In the wake of the April 2024 global screenings of “Not the Foreign Force,” Director Plato Chen’s documentary of the A4 Revolution, the Coalition of Students Resisting the CCP is excited to publish its first op-ed. Written by Coalition board member June, “Resistance, Remembrance, Revolution, & Rise: A Review of ‘Not the Foreign Force’” offers a powerful reflection on the film. Their review raises considerations from and connections to the Uyghur and Tibetan freedom movements, embodying the cross-movement understanding that our Coalition aims to foster.
